The Case Concerning the J-vid Pandemic

The United Republic of Aprepluya (Applicant) and the Democratic State of Ranovstayo (Respondent) appeared before the International Court of Justice to settle their differences concerning the J-vid Pandemic.

The case presented the following issues:

1. Public health emergencies and state responsibility;

2. Obligations under international health regulations;

3. Freedom of movement versus quarantine measures and human rights limitations during pandemics; and

4. Vaccine distribution equity and access;
