For over 20 years, the name Jessup Italy has represented the collective efforts of the many individuals who have contributed to organizing the Italian National Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. As the competition has grown, however, the increasing complexity of its organization has highlighted the need for a stable administrative structure to support its continued development.

To address this need, in 2023 Jessup Italy took an important step by incorporating as an Associazione di Promozione Sociale (APS), a non-profit association under Italian law. This new structure provides a stronger and more sustainable framework for managing the competition and supporting its long-term development.

From an administrative perspective, the establishment of the association also enables us to streamline the collection and management of funds, strengthening our capacity to support the competition and our broader initiatives. Our aim is to ensure that Jessup Italy has the financial and organizational resources necessary to continue growing and fulfilling its mission.

At the same time, we remain committed to fostering a culture of active participation. We believe that the continued development of Jessup Italy depends on the involvement and contribution of its community. By creating an inclusive environment in which different perspectives and ideas can be shared, we can strengthen our community and create new opportunities for its members.
