The Republic of Acastus (Applicant) and the State of Rubia (Respondent) appeared before the International Court of Justice to settle their differences in the Case concerning the Elysian Fields.

The case presented the following issues:

  2. Indigenous peoples’ rights to land and resources;

  3. State responsibility for corporate and private security conduct; and

  4. Forced labour, human rights, and foreign sovereign immunity.
